I always wanted to be a mom. I was confident that I would be a great mother, imagining I’d want to spend every moment with my child, and that nothing would feel more fulfilling.
During my pregnancy, I had all these expectations—how motherhood would look and how it would make me feel. I believed it would be the happiest time of my life, and I’d finally feel complete.
But after my baby was born things didn't go according to my expectations. Instead of calm days filled with love and peace, I found myself losing my mind. My newborn cried a lot, I felt helpless and unsure of how to help him.
I spent hours Googling solutions and seeking advice from professionals. It was exhausting, and the joyful experience I had envisioned felt far from my reach. Combined with physical health issues and the challenges of COVID times, those early years of motherhood were incredibly tough.
Four years after my son’s birth, I hit a breaking point. Juggling a demanding tech startup career with the needs of a very active child had left me completely burnt out. I knew I couldn’t keep going like this, so I made a bold decision—I quit my job and gave myself permission to take a few months to rest and reconnect with myself, something I hadn’t done in four years.
Even with all the rest, though, I didn’t feel recharged. My energy only began to return months after I started a year-long coaching program. The coaching tools, guidance, and support were exactly what I needed.
Through the program, I dove deep into coaching theory, applied powerful tools to my own life, and experienced firsthand the transformative power of being coached.
I uncovered buried beliefs that had been holding me back for years (or decades), and for the first time in a long time, I felt lighter and more aligned with who I wanted to be.
I realized that much of my exhaustion and struggle during those early years wasn’t just because of my son’s demands, but because of my reactions to them—reactions shaped by deep-seated beliefs from my own childhood and unexpressed emotions that had been bottled up.
I now know how valuable coaching could have been for me during that time, but I’m also grateful for the journey that led me here. It has changed me, not just as a person, but in how I want to show up in the world.
Today, my vision is to create a space where you, as a parent, feel truly seen, supported, and empowered. A space where you can exhale, reconnect with yourself, and learn how to thrive in parenthood, not just survive.
I want to offer the kind of support so many parents long for—that sense of a village that holds you when things feel overwhelming. Because when you, as a parent, feel calm, confident, and resourced, that ripple effect reaches your child, your partner, and your entire home. And I believe that’s how we begin to shape a more compassionate and connected world—one supported parent at a time.
